Timbex Live: A Celebration of Design, Innovation and Inspiration at our London Showroom

On 15 October 2026, Ecoscape welcomed guests to its London Clerkenwell showroom for Timbex Live, bringing together landscape designers, architects and contractors for an afternoon of industry insights, product demonstrations and inspiration at the heart of London’s design community.

Hosted in collaboration with showroom partners Nth Degree, the event featured expert presentations, live product demonstrations and informal networking. Guests also had the opportunity to discover the wider collections from both brands, explore products firsthand and connect with fellow professionals.

Exploring the Power of Biophilic Design
with Oliver Heath

One of the highlights of the day was a presentation from Oliver Heath, a leading expert in biophilic design. Oliver explored how bringing people closer to nature through thoughtful design can support wellbeing and shape the way we experience the spaces around us.

His insights highlighted the importance of considering the relationship between people, materials and the natural environment when designing indoor and outdoor spaces, offering plenty of inspiration for the professionals in attendance.

Simon Bowler on Social Media, Business Growth and Building an Audience

Content creator and experienced installer Simon Bowler brought a practical perspective to the day’s programme, sharing his experience of building an audience through social media and turning content creation into a tool for business growth.

Drawing on his own journey, Simon explored how businesses can use social platforms to build credibility, showcase their expertise and connect with customers. His engaging, down-to-earth approach offered valuable insights into how authentic content can help businesses stand out in a competitive market.

Timbex Takes Centre Stage

Of course, Timbex itself was a central part of the day.

Throughout the event, Simon delivered a series of interactive demonstrations, showcasing the innovation and attention to detail behind Ecoscape’s premium decking system.

Large-format samples and decking displays allowed guests to examine the intricate woodgrain textures and natural variation between boards, getting a closer look at the details that define Timbex’s distinctive appearance.

Particular interest centred on the innovative Lost Head Screw fixing system, which conceals the screw heads within the decking boards to create a clean, uninterrupted surface.

The demonstrations showed how this approach helps preserve the visual continuity of the decking, allowing its natural-looking textures to take centre stage without exposed screw heads interrupting the finish.

Guests could also asked questions, discussed installation considerations and explored how Timbex might work within their own projects. It was an opportunity to look beyond the finished surface and understand the thinking behind the product’s design.

More Than Just a Product Showcase

Beyond the presentations and demonstrations, Timbex Live was also about bringing people together.

With excellent food and hospitality, the event created a relaxed setting for conversations about projects, design ideas and developments across the industry. Guests could also explore the wider Ecoscape and Nth Degree collections, discovering complementary materials, finishes and furniture within the shared showroom.

Situated in Clerkenwell, one of London’s established design districts, the showroom provides a space for architects, designers, specifiers and other professionals to explore materials, discuss projects and discover new possibilities. The enthusiasm and conversations throughout the day reinforced the value of bringing the industry together in person.
